Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing duties within your scope of practice under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers - Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns - Assist with physical examinations and provide support during procedures - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans - Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs - Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of state - Minimum of number years of experience in acute care, primary care, or home care settings - Proficient in performing physical examinations and basic medical procedures - Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as airway management or gastric lavage are a plus - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
