):
Renovation and expansion of the Calexico Land Port of Entry.
Major work items include approximately 18 acres of land to expand and modernize the CXLPOE; Construct a new Administration building with a sky bridge that connects the existing Head House to the Administration building.
Construct five permanent southbound Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) non-commercial inspection lanes, inspection islands, booths, canopies and concrete paving.
Erect a preprimary inspection canopy for the northbound POV lanes heading into the United States.
Construct six (6) new POV northbound inspection lanes, inspection islands, booths, canopies and concrete paving, and expand the secondary POV inspection area.
Construct a new employee parking structure (approximately 260 spaces) adjacent to southbound inspection that includes an underground pedestrian tunnel from the parking structure under the southbound lanes and exits near the shell space.
Construct an underground pedestrian and utility tunnel that crosses Union Pacific Rail Road tracks allowing employees to walk from the Administration building to a future Pedestrian building.
Extend utilities for future Pedestrian building project.
Perform demolition in designated areas to allow the construction of the Phase 2A project.
Daily
Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities include field work observations for conformance with the plans and specifications, daily reports and photographs, engagement with the contractor and CBP, and coordination with 3rd party specialty inspection services, among other daily duties for this role.
Required Qualifications (Experience, Education, Certifications, Clearances, etc.
):
Expert in the observation of construction work.
The Inspector must observe construction work that will be done by the Construction Contractor to review for conformance with the design requirements and the approved construction documents prepared by the A&E.
The individual in charge of this task must have at least 20 years of experience in observing construction work on similar projects, of which at least 5 years must have been in a construction management role.

Qualifications:
HSPD-12 clearance - Required for this project SA Project Experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
